“"You mean a date? A date-date? Like an actual date?’" …And this is an actual date, with actual dating going on. It’s an actual person and there’s no cameras and there’s no Slade Wilson and there’s no super-villain — and no one is trying to kill anyone.”—Marc Guggenheim, with Zap2It, on Oliver and Felicity and their date-date [x] (via smoakandarrow)
Emily Bett Rickards plays Felicity Smoak in Arrow and will reprise the role in upcoming series The Flash
I’ll note that, while this article hints at romantic potential there was a remark from Berlanti yesterday that said in TV Guide:
Interestingly enough, the producers had discussed the possibility of Felicity and Barry dating across shows — a la Lindsay and Severide on the Chicago shows — but it sounds like they have something else in mind. “We have all sorts of romantic possibilities for both of them on both shows,” he says. “Hopefully the first time Felicity comes to town, we’ll deal with all that stuff.” Bonus scoop.
So yay for Emily getting more exposure, but II fully expect this tease to be put into the friend category pretty quickly so both shows can move on. But anyway… for those interested in checking it out….
Well I guess it’s only logical that once Felicity finds out that Barry has finally recovered from his coma, she’ll want to go visit him. She and Oliver even talked about that. So this makes sense. It may be hard to watch from an Olicity standpoint though, depending on how it works out. Although now, she knows about Barry’s “something” with Iris, so she’ll probably pick up on his feelings for her, like he did with her feelings for Oliver. Speaking of which, it might be fun to see her meet Iris.
Hi, I don't know if your still taking prompts...but here's mine anyway. "Oliver and Felicity get sprayed with some kind of skin irritant (chemical, anything, could be pepper spray) and they have to wash it off immediately so they jump in the shower together." (kinda based off Chuck and Sara's scene from Chuck) THANKS!!
I’m actually not still taking prompts, but I wanted to write this anyway, so here we are. Also I’m not sure why I randomly wrote this in a different tense to usual. It just kind of came out. Weird.

They stumbled down the steps into the lair, Felicity’s heart beating erratically, Oliver’s hand firm around her arm the only thing keeping her from tripping in their haste.
“Shower. Now.” He ground out, practically dragging her towards the bathroom, two of her strides matching one of his.
Her skin was itching and she found herself grumbling under her breath about stupid super-villains, and really, what kind of a person has a bio-hazardous chemical just lying around?
The slamming of the bathroom door behind them distracted her and she was suddenly faced with the very imminent reality of having to shower withOliver. They’d had the substance on their skin for far too long already, she wasn’t about to suggest he wait outside like a gentlemen while they took turns. She wasn’t positive what the chemical was, but she had an inkling, and if it was what she suspected it was, prolonged exposure would result in respiratory problems and possible cardiac arrest. Definitely no time for carefully enforced boundaries.
Platonic showering together was totally a thing, right?
